MOBILE PHOTOGRAPHY WORKSHOPS: STORYTELLING (with Sion Fullana & Anton Kawasaki)

THE FUTURE

I realized I was doing a lot of things in my life that seemed cool, but weren't really moving me forward in my career path. One of them was focusing so much attention on Instagram over the last two years. While fun, it's not a meaningful path to pursue if you want to take photography seriously. So I left the app for good (the recent TOS debacle on IG was only a small part of my decision). I've also decided to step out of the Mobile Photo Group. While a good idea (in theory), and containing lots of talented people, I realized it was actually holding me back on a lot of stuff that I wanted to do. So 2013 is going to be a HUGE change for me, and I'll be approaching everything in a new (hopefully better) way. I (along with Sion) have tons of really exciting ideas for what's next, and you'll surely see some of them come to fruition before the end of the year.
